Environment Policy

HorticMan Limited is committed to preventing pollution and ensuring that its groundscare operations minimise the impact on the environment. 

 HorticMan will:

• Reduce where practically the level of harmful emissions produced in the course of its operations

• Use unleaded low sulfur fuels for machinery - including chainsaws, brushcutters, hedgetrimmers and rotary mowers

• Use bio-degradeable chain oil to minimize damage to the environment and reduce the risk to aquatic life

• Where practical, work operations will be carried out with a view to minimizing visual, noise and other impacts on the environment.

• Encourage all staff, clients and the community to implement sound environmental practices

• Reuse green waste where possible - ie woodchip, timber, grass clippings

• Meet and exceed where practical all relevant legislation or other regulations.
